What a beautiful December morning! The whole vineyard is covered in a layer of frost and with the morning sun, it looks magical. We will leave the tendrils alone for a while; in the new year we will start winter pruning. The tendrils planted in 2021 will be pruned back, giving the remaining buds every chance to develop properly. In addition, the tendrils planted in 2022 will be pruned for the first time. Pruning in the first few years will partly determine the development of the tendrils, we would of course like to be able to enjoy them for a long time! A well planted and maintained vineyard can last several generations.
