Winter pruning has begun. For each vine, we see which shoot can deliver the grapes in 2023 (production) and which 2 shoots we keep for the 2024 harvest (staking). This is quite a job; one row takes us about two hours. Fortunately, we are starting to get more and more used to it. In March we will start with the first-year tendrils. So plenty to do for now!
